Preparation Instructions:
This Mediterranean extra virgin olive oil steak marinade recipe was given to me by Marylyn from Vernonia Oregon. Creating this marinade is extremely simple. First take out a bowl, then add in the organic extra virgin olive oil, freshly squeezed lemon juice, crushed red pepper flakes, white superfine cane sugar, crushed dried oregano, cayenne pepper, chopped fresh green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, crushed dried basil, and kosher salt. Using a metal whisk, steadily beat the marinade until all of the ingredients have blended together, and the sugar has dissolved. Next seal your bowl tightly, and then place it into your refrigerator to chill for roughly an hour. While your steak marinade is chilling, the flavor notes will sharpen and blend together. This steak marinade is great with beef steak, venison, poultry, and salmon. We hope you enjoy it.
