The first step to this age old steak marinade recipe, is to take out a nonreactive mixing bowl. Add into the bowl the dry red wine, minced garlic cloves, minced green jalapeno pepper, extra virgin olive oil, fresh squeezed lemon juice, and dried oregano. Next take out a metal whisk and stir these ingredients together until they form a smooth and even marinade sauce. For thick beef, venison, or buffalo steaks, let them marinate in this sauce for twelve to twenty four hours, the longer the better in my opinion.
